The Drill Team
It was a proud day in March 2005
when 9 girls from Estado 29 won the regional drill team competition (“Escolta”)
beating over 8 schools in the Baja region. The teenage girls all attend Telesecundaria in Ensenada. In addition to the team winning the overall competition,
Edith Sanchez (16) was named best
Sargent. The role of Sargent is a high honor and only awarded to
students with high academic performance, such as Edith. The teens will compete for the state
championship in Mexicali the middle of
May.
We are so proud of the
girls, their discipline and commitment to the team.
